How many countries fit in two weeks?Two, properly. Three if you fly between them and accept that one of the three is a long weekend.
Is Southeast Asia still cheap?Street food and local transport, yes — a day on €35 is real. Hotels in Bangkok, Bali and Singapore have caught up with Europe.
Do I need cash?Cities take cards. Nothing interesting does. Carry a day of cash and use bank machines, not the ones in convenience stores.
Is the street food safe?Safer than the hotel buffet. Eat where the queue is local and the turnover is fast, and skip the pre-cut fruit.
One month or three?A month covers two countries without rushing. Three is when the region stops being a holiday and starts being a life.
